Almeraya S.A. was born in 1994 under the guidance and direction of two important sector companies, Corporación Española de Transporte S.A. specializing in urban transport and Autómnibus Interurbanos S.A. a traditional passenger road transport company, with CTSA holding 55% of the shares and AISA 45% with the objective of connecting Almería, its province and Guadix, in the southeast area of the province of Granada, with Madrid.
Over these years, Almeraya S.A. has become one of the most important pillars of connection from Madrid to Almeria and its province, as well as with the southern part of the province of Granada, through its stop in Guadiz, thus gaining users year after years which leads us to continue improving, making the most modern buses available to our travelers and increasing services and timetables.
Since 2002, we also take them to la Meseta with stops in Manzanares and Valdepeñas, thus eliminating another of the connection barriers that affected Almería and its province, as well as the southern part of Granada, thus enabling a greater flow of movement throughout the province of Ciudad Real and opening up opportunities for connections to other destinations.
In July 2003, the route was expanded to the town of El Ejido, a city with great economic and population growth due to its winter residents.
The latest improvement in the service we offer our travelers is having achieved the stop in Puerto de Almería in September 2005 in order to facilitate our users’ movement.
