Avanza Grupo: a giant step forward

Avanza Grupo began its activities in March 2002 through the union of the prestige and experience of three large passenger road transport companies: TUZSA, VITRASA AND AUTO RES. The integration of the LA SEPULVEDANA Group in July 2003 and receiving approval to operate the city service of Segovia in 2004 and of Ourense in 2005, continues a process that attempts to meet the challenge of earning a future and meeting the new market demands.

Already in 2007 two milestones took place that increased our volume of business: obtaining approval to provide the urban service in Soria in the middle of the year and the acquisition of the CTSA group. In line with our growth policy, in 2008, the ALOSA company became part of our Group.

Avanza Grupo covers the various areas of passenger road transport: urban transport, suburb-metropolitan, long-distance and discretional. In addition to these activities, we also manage bus stations and service areas.

A solid presence in the national arena makes Avanza Grupo the largest private Spanish urban transport management group, the first bus station operator and the second in turnover in long-distance transport.

To do so, it has a fleet of 1,670 vehicles.

Avanza Grupo is present in nine Autonomous Communities and in Portugal with solid business development and an unbeatable competitive position to tackle new projects in the immediate future.
